Ravens QB Lamar Jackson reacts to list of top-five NFL tight ends by Raiders TE Darren Waller

The Baltimore Ravens had a great draft in 2018, picking up multiple stars in all seven rounds. Two of these players were quarterback Lamar Jackson and tight end Mark Andrews, who were taken in the first and third rounds, respectively.

Darren Waller, a tight end for the Las Vegas Raiders, talked about his top five tight ends on the “All Things Covered” podcast. At No. 5, Andrews was not as high on his list as most others. He then put Kyle Pitts of the Atlanta Falcons, George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, and himself at the top of the list.

Jackson caught wind of Waller’s list, and responded to it on Twitter by seemingly being shocked that Andrews was listed at No. 5.

Waller was on the Ravens roster in Baltimore for a short time with both Jackson and Andrews, but he has since gotten his career back on track in Las Vegas. Waller’s list of tight ends is full of very talented players, but Andrews should be higher on the list than Pitts, who has only been in the league for one year.
